- 1980 – Establishment of Idaho’s Right-to-Work Law Idaho became a Right-to-Work state, ensuring that workers are not required to join a union as a condition of employment.
- 1990 – Adoption of the Local Land Use Planning Act This act provided a framework for cities and counties to develop comprehensive plans and zoning regulations.
- 2000 – Idaho Millennium Fund Created Funded by tobacco settlement revenues, this fund supports programs that benefit public health and education.
- 2010 – Introduction of the Idaho Health Freedom Act This act opposed federal mandates requiring individuals to purchase health insurance, promoting state sovereignty.
- 2020 – Passage of the Idaho Broadband Grant Program This initiative aimed to expand broadband access to underserved rural areas, enhancing connectivity and economic development.
